How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney
4.0
I need to buy a physical copy of this book so that I can look up any topic I am interested in the moment.
This was part of my own research about modern colonialism. He explains very well how Europe and USA are still destroying Africa till this day, while disguising it as donations, non-profit organisations, etc.
Development/foreign aid makes me so angry because virtually everyone thinks it is a good thing, but it is the reason why Africa cannot seem to progress. Europe, USA, and China are still oppressing Africa, placing military bases throughout the continent. It makes me scared to be honest.
They are still colonising Africa, but if more people are aware of it, we might be able to prevent these developed countries from completely robbing the continent of everything. I fear it is already to late.
Please, if you're reading my review, do me a favour and never support organisations like Red Cross, or any organisation that sees itself as the saviors of developing countries. They are destroying these countries. The worst part: it's right in front of our eyes.
