I was enjoying this at the beginning, though a little slow to start off but by the end I was just kind of disappointed. I think overall the book is pretty slow paced and boring. Not a lot really happens and I feel all the conflict is way to easily and quickly resolved. Especially the ending conflict. So just overall not the best paced book.
I also wasn't the biggest fan of the writing itself. It was WAY too much tell not show and ended up feeling stiff.
I think the biggest thing that disappointed me though was the relationship between Rose and the White Bear. We're somehow supposed to believe they're in love but we hardly see them fall for each other and there really only together for small bits and pieces of the book. It just didn't seem like there was any substance to their romance at all. Really I feel none of the characters in general had much development or substance. Especially the White Bear.
I've definitely read worse thing but overall this book was kind of ehh for me.
