Regi's Huuman by Lyn Gala

5.0

Regi's Huuman is a fun sci-fi adventure where humans are the strange unusual creature. It features a traumatized cowboy abducted by space pirates rescued by a furry security chief isolated because of his belief in gods. And I am a million percent here for it.

Pros: trapped in space, space pirates, slow burn romance, great characters, humans are the aliens, supernatural shit in space

Cons: Cover is a little weak, ends with hand holding (which isn't a con for me, but may be for some people)

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi that has a mostly alien cast. It's fun, exciting and has a sense of humor about itself. The characters are great and well flushed out, the two main characters have great chemistry, and the danger they find themselves in feels pressing and terrifying.
