Okay, I rarely read rockstar romances - there’s something about infantile power play within the whole industry as well as the band itself at times, always makes it really hard for me to actually sit and enjoy the book itself.

But when it’s Devney Perry’s writing a second chance romance between high school sweethearts; who now are at very different places in their lives, - with the hero being a single parent and the heroine being a rockstar in her own right.

The angst of finding her way back home for Quinn - a home where she left because she felt she had no other choice, even leaving behind the one boy who held her heart in his hands - the heart that has never healed nor has it allowed anyone to get close even years later.

The boy, Graham was left behind when Quinn left to follow her dreams - he has done his best to move on; though that hasn’t worked for him at all. He is however content in his life; he has a kid he adores, a successful business with his best friend and family’s love surrounding him.

When a beloved matriarch of the family dies; the only one Quinn knows supported her throughout her quest for rockstar journey; she knows she has no choice but to come back to where the old wounds still fester. What neither of them expected was how seeing each other would make them feel.

Like always, Devney Perry has delivered a romance that will sear through your soul and make you excited to see the remaining rockstars getting their well deserved HEA! (And this coming from a reader, who doesn’t read rockstar romances; so you know, it’s a good recommendation
