Kiss the Duke Goodbye by Tracy Sumner
4.0
There is no "saying goodbye" to a passion that has been building for ages.
This novella was one secret juicy love affair for the most part. Knox's yearning for Clarissa was this living thing that kept building up until he couldn't deny it anymore, especially when it seemed like she was experiencing the same feelings. The chemistry was off the charts and palpable. It was almost a relief when they finally made it to a bedroom, but that was most definitely not the end of the craving for each other.
I enjoyed their every moment together, it was just too short. Between Knox's proposal and the epilogue, there were so many things that would've been lovely to experience with them, as well as more details surrounding Clarissa's father.
There are three novellas that chronicle the lives of the Troublesome Trio, and each one stands well on its own. I can highly recommend this if you like a steamy historical romance.
