2.5 ⭐ I really liked the idea of an archeologist romance but boy were these yahoos thirsty. The plot wasn't strong enough to carry everything peripheral to the incessant, lusty, sometimes trashy romance that pervaded every scene. I also found the characters immature and annoying. I enjoyed the author's note though.
