When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

5.0

I do not recommend finishing this book over a pint in a busy pub (Sheps Ale House), unless you're OK with crying in public.
This was my bedside book and I forgot to log a start date last December.
A wonderfully written book; it appeals to both my medical and literary sides.
The writing is honest and at times brutal, as surgery- especially neurosurgery- is.
You will enjoy it.
