Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare

3.0

I read this book for a university module. I am a huge admirer of Shakespeare but I've always personally preferred his sonnets and comedic plays. His tragedies and histories have always been harder for me to understand therefore enjoy. Titus is one of Shakespeare's bloodiest plays and I think that is where most of my reservations come from. There is so much violence that at times it becomes difficult to read.
I do not think I will ever return to this play and probably would have never read it if not for university.
