I haven't read this since high school and I had forgotten how much I enjoy Becky Sharp. The first third of this book is certainly stronger than the final two-thirds but I didn't regret the time I spent in this world. (Also recommend the 2018 mini-series with Claudia Jessie and Olivia Cooke if you like that sort of thing.)
