Why Movements Matter: The West German Peace Movement and U.S. Arms Control Policy by Steve Breyman
5.0
Very good description of the impact the West German peace movments had on both the government of the FRG and the U.S. The section on the need for peace movements in the 1990s is a little outdated, given that the book was composed before 9/11, but this is the best account of the anti-Euromissile movement and the bipolar Reagan administration that I have so far read.
