I wanted to like this book so bad. The concept was so intriguing. I just hated the characters. Everyone was angry in an instant for no reason and immediately after they said something angrily they were totally fine. They didn't make sense. By the end of the boom Laney keeps saying she has to find Jason to warn him and that she will scan a room and than forget she has to. Than she's mad at her protector for not protecting him when she literally looked for two seconds for Jason and gave up.
