This is a beautiful, charming, moving look at what life with MH issues can feel like. It's also very bizarre, funny and unsentimental, which is really what makes it work. I've long been a fan of Rubyetc online and I loved this collection. Put into context with essays about her own personal struggles, it really illuminates why she is able to so precisely capture the pain and dark humor of mental illness. I hope she keeps writing essays (which are very funny as well) in addition to her comics, I think she is able to speak directly, with both frankness and kindness, to people who are struggling in a way very few others can.
