I much prefer junji ito’s long form books, many of the concepts he plays with in this book are very interesting but would benefit from fleshing out- many endings are very abrupt. Many hit or miss stories but  the same camp, over the top style I love kept me reading, I read the whole collection in one sitting, only took 2 hours so good if you want to loose yourself for an afternoon, but for the stories to have more impact I’d advise splitting them up. Might revisit my faves, like the bat one, the library and earthbound but will not read cover to cover again.
