What an incredibly beautiful tribute. I appreciated learning about South Korean culture and particularly thinking deeply about the way that my own relationship with my mother's cooking is already a source of solace for me in difficult times. Writing a review about a memoir about grief is challenging, but even though this book was sad, it was also really beautiful and I'm so glad I read it.
