This would probably have hit a bit different if I'd read it soon after finishing the trilogy. I do think fans of Cardan will really like this. It's a collection of short stories from his perspective, but there's a connection between them so it reads as a cohesive whole. I did enjoy the stories and the writing, but the best part of this is definitely the gorgeous artwork. It's absolutely stunning, and really enhanced my enjoyment of the book.
