The Small and the Mighty: Twelve Unsung Americans Who Changed the Course of History by Sharon McMahon

5.0

This was absolutely phenomenal, as I anticipated. Sharon's writing was so captivating yet still informative, and the book seemed to be really well researched. My favorite story was of Virginia Randolph, one of the first professionals to have a school counselor-esque mindset to education.

Each of the stories was unique and one I'd never heard before (only a couple names were even remotely familiar!). A perfect read throughout election season.
