I’m confused. How does this book have a 3.88 average??? This book have it all! A diverse lead and a swoon worthy love interest. I read this book last year and just wanted to have a book to listen to in the background since I’ve been stuck home (self isolation). Chole Brown is an independent woman who is kind and feminine but also a tough woman which is a combination I find rare in romance. (When I say feminine I don’t mean femme fatale.) And Red, wow. He’s a sweetie who deserves the world. I think soft guys aren’t given enough attention. I might just be picking up the wrong books but it’s always “mr tough guy soft for MC” but Red is just a saint 97% of the novel and I loved every second.

I’m not greedy with my five stars because if a book makes me happy and has me re reading them it DESERVES it. I know the authors are trying and I’m appreciating.

Seriously read the book.
