This is book 1 in a new series and it sets the tempo of the books to come perfectly.  It establishes the scene and some characters who are obviously going to get their own story, as well as providing us with a very satisfying read about Philip and Cordelia.  Set in Victorian England, this book provides lots of little details to show that care has been taken to really ground the stories in that time.  I found this to be a very sweet and romantic book that still provided some good sexy times and a bit of spanking thrown in.
