I didn’t read the 2nd book in this series, and have totally forgotten the first, except remembering that I loved it.

This had endearing characters and it is very easy to read. I really like the authors style of writing.

She was able to show both sides of those who were for the war or rather for defending their country and those who were against it. I didn’t feel she forced her ideas but let the reader decide which moral high ground was the right one in their mind.

I will go back and read book 2 eventually :)
