i listened to this on audible and it had everything i like about dark romance but it didn’t happen right if that makes sense. FL is running away from her foster dad (bc he is gonna SA her if she doesn’t leave) a month before her 18th bday. she gets out of there and we skip forward a year when she has a horrible day and gets a text from an wrong number (the ML). ML is not as swoon worthy as normal dark romance guys for me, i barely liked him i think. There was just something off about this book for me. I did like the VA (troy duran) he was smexy sounding. ML was kinda the same as a lot of the guys she was trying to avoid, and FL kept calling him a “golden god” and as you know i am not really into blonds. but i did finish but also they had a lot of u protected sex that i was sure gonna leave her with a baby at end and it didn’t but he said he put a tracking device in her instead of BC so i don’t know how that happened. anyways it was ok, it did what it needed to but not well enough for me,  i guess.
