Even Though I Knew the End by C.L. Polk

I liked this book, but not the ending.
Also, I was sometimes charmed by the use of phrases that made it feel like an old time detective story and sometimes it was a bit much haha.
I did love the inclusion of a speakeasy (or maybe it was for all queer folx, but I only remember women being there).
I called the twist way before the halfway point of the book haha. But as always, that’s not a deal breaker for me. I feel like using foreshadowing well enough for the reader to think they know, but not be 100% sure, is good writing.
