The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix

4.0

I don’t “do” horror. I tend to avoid reading that genre. But the title and cover of this book was just so intriguing. And I have been gravitating toward dark humor lately. This did not disappoint. I switched back and forth between listening to this as an audiobook on my walks and ebook when I was back home. The narrator was terrific and so when I was reading on the page I continued hearing her narration. (That frequently happens to me). This book has humor and then later, some fairly graphic violence and gore so it had me laughing out loud and then later shuddering in disgust. Loved the ending.
