The Almost Nearly Perfect People: Behind the Myth of the Scandinavian Utopia by Michael Booth
challenging
informative
slow-paced
2.25
Bloviating.
The actual information in this book is fascinating and I would have loved to have learned about this research, but the author's writing style is unbearable. Imagine writing five full pages about feeling weird about getting naked in a sauna and thinking that's cultural analysis of the country the sauna's in and not yourself. Specifically going out of my way never to read anything by this author again. Godspeed to his wife.
