As an avid reader, I find that it's not uncommon to fall in love with a character or thoroughly wish that they were real. This book is about just that. It has a very good plot. I loved the illustrations and events. It is a simple love story and a true modern day fairy tale. I could very much relate to the main character, Delilah, who feels like she doesn't really fit in anywhere and who uses books as an escape. I wish that I could create my own world and have it come to life through the reader.
