Will by Will Smith, Mark Manson

I am cracking up! Firstly to everyone who didn’t enjoy this man’s book because “he talks too much”….it’s freaking Will Smith lol like in every single freaking thing he’s been in he’s always talking (except his dramas), like I expected nothing less than what he gave to us within the 411 pages of this memoir! With that said, yes if you are not a fan of talkative folks and name dropping 🤷🏽‍♀️ might not be for you BUT AGAIN this man is in the entertainment industry! Mkay so that’s been said…

I absolutely adored this book! The audio is definitely the way to go because it is truly a performance of sorts, I didn’t understand until it hits and it’s just such an enjoyable and entertaining way to consume this book. I love reading memoirs of celebs because I think at some point we as the “little people of the world” forget that celebrities are too human and they do dumb shit just like we do, the only difference is their dumb shit is broadcasted for everyone to see.

I loved his vulnerability and his reflections within himself. I really feel like everything I liked about Will before has only been enhanced after reading this book. He’s a wild card and he knows it. He’s confident, he’s got a foundation, when he gets knocked off his feet (in my opinion) he does the work to try and humble himself. He messed up hardcore in some moments but again he’s human. And I loved how the other celebs he mentioned, he mentioned them within their timeline that he came in contact with him and left them there. It didn’t crossover into a “oh this is a Will and so and so” chapter. I really appreciated that.

Overall I loved it. I definitely recommend it!

(I automatically give 5⭐️ for memoirs as this is an extension of someone’s life and do not feel it is fair to give a rating.)
