All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
Did not finish book.

Never in my life have I gave a book one star or wanted to give a book one star. I was having trouble reading it because it just dragged and felt like it was taking forever. And I was confuse sometimes what was happening. And the two p.o.v just pissed me off. Literally I was half way through it and the two main characters haven't met yet. Throughout the whole thing I was like what's the point of having them in the same book when they have hardly contribution to each other. They both could've had seperate books. They literally meet somewhere after 350 (I'm not sure exactly. I just skimmed looking for it) pages into the story.
I tried making excuses such as it's historical fiction, I'm usually don't read them or maybe cause it's on third p.o.v and you hardly enjoy them. BUT NO. I have read other historical fictions and third p.o.v that weren't as shit as this.
I tried changing my format and hoped that will help me.
And the problem is I'm so stubborn like I believe that if I payed for it therefore can't DNF it. I just couldn't take it anymore. I usually can force myself through a book but not this time.
Lesson learnt. If a book is shit. Don't expect it to get better. Just give up on it.
(Sorry for the messy rant)
