For being the finale, I really liked this one - Remy and Amber's narratives were a necessary writing tactic used well (a rarity which I VERY MUCH appreciated). Plus, the ending is far more than satisfying for me as a devoted reader.

However, this one still has it's weak points. The relationship between Remy and the Senator totally gave me the eek out factor - and also felt really fake at multiple points. I get it, it's a ruse for Remy, but it still felt very written. Also, that final battle was very rushed considering it all happens in the final 10% of the book. I hoped that would've been a bit more expansive.

Overall, a series well worth the read (& the smaltz).
