Perhaps the best speculative fiction thriller I've ever read? Eat your heart out, Michael Crichton. I found this far, far more interesting than Dark Matter, although the plots share the same formula. It's epic in scope - this could have easily been a trilogy, but I'm so glad (and amazed) that instead it was told in 300 pages. Bravo!
