I honestly loved this book and didn’t mind the length. I love the characters and the world building is so interesting, but leaves a lot of space for more info to be shared in later books. It also kind of gave me Dune vibes with the excerpts at the beginning. I’m so excited to see where this series goes! You get dropped into this world but pick up on things both quickly and intuitively.
