I somehow feel like I wasn’t reading a slow burn between the characters but it was instead a slow burn with characters and me. Like you got to know the cast so easily and relate to them instantly. The plot felt so absolutely in character and natural and “of course it happened that way, how else would it happen”. This book had me so in love, toes gripping the sheets like I needed to know everything about them immediately. Happy endings in queer books are the only option from here on.
