Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

5.0

I don't know what Laini Taylor does to create such a rich atmosphere to her stories, but I hope she never stops. She describes Prague like some impossible dream, contrasting to how she portrays the dark world the of the seraphim and chimera. The story has a really good pace to it, never feeling too slow or too fast.

The characters are deep and engaging, there wasn't one that I thought flat or completely unlikable. Just all around a good read.

(But I swear if there turns out to be a love triangle further down on the road...)
