I was shocked that Riko was legit executed. I’m so glad that Neil and Andrew are finally a thing. While I hate how long the SLOW burn took, I can appreciate that they had a lot to work through to get to this point at the end of this book. BUT. Knowing what I know now, I think this entire trilogy could have been one 500-600 page book with a lot of editing, OR it needed… more. I’m glad I read it since it seems to be a fairly common comp for recommendations on IG or BookTok, but it’s not a favorite and the 3 star rating I think is generous.
