This was quite a disappointing read, as I was really excited about this book.
I love F.T Lukens, especially Spell Bound and So this is Ever After, but this one was a huge letdown. The plot was interesting at first, but I started getting bored quickly and didn't really want to pick up the book so had to push myself through reading the first 180 pages before anything interesting happened.
I think I'd maybe re-read this someday, maybe through audio instead, but right now it can just sit and look pretty on my shelves.
(Also, a very minor gripe is my blurb states Ellery having he/him pronouns when they go by they/them, which was weird as why wouldn't the publishers put they on the back?)
