At some parts it was a little confusing, couldn't tell if it was taking place in the past or the present and that made it pretty difficult to understand what was happening. I also thought the romantic tension was forced and honestly kind of annoying - but it wasn't a bad book. The adventure and characters were pretty fun, I just had a few small qualms.
