The Island by Ben Coes

2.0

I must have read a different book than everyone else. I’ve read every Coes book, and they were getting better and better. The Russian was a bit disappointing, but this book felt like a different author. Lots of repetition, Dewey was in 30% of the book, totally unbelievable story, and the book was a lot more graphic than any prior in the series. It read like one of those bad, flashy summer movies.

Easily the most disappointing book I’ve read in a long time.
