This was a good Retelling of the Wild Swans and I enjoyed getting to know both Elisa & Alaric in this story and thought they made a nice couple. While I did really enjoy the story overall I had just finished reading the previous story and the two happened at the same time so some of the story did repeat a bit since the characters were friends and together and this is meant to be able to be read as a standalone as well as part of a series of interconnected stories. I am looking forward to continuing this story and seeing what happens with the other characters in this fun and lighthearted fairy tale series.
