A journalist interviews an enigmatic woman on trial for murder. She's inspired to examine her life and her palate as she engages in a convoluted relationship with an inmate. This is a 5-star read. This novel has everything: amazing descriptions of Food, sensuality, and self-reflection. it made me question what it means to be satisfied.
