I will always read Outlander. This however, being my least favorite so far. I will still continue on. The story in this particular book in the series focused very heavily on Brianna and Roger, which was not my favorite.  Toward the end we do return back more toward Jamie and Claire, and the story I have come to love.

I still interested in where the story goes from here. The large portion of the middle of this book felt like a slog. Very long and dragging. Not sure if it was going to have a large point in the long term, or just story telling for the sake of it.

I went back and forth from audio to reading, as per normal for me in Outlander books. I do enjoy the audio book format and narrator. Overall, it I recommend it as a means to get necessary information to the next book,  but be aware the middle is a little slow.
