I'd heard so much buzz (good and bad) about this one that I had to order it from the UK before it releases in Canada...two chapters in, I thought I was going to hate it, but The Last House on Needless Street slowly unspooled and pulled me in. Beautifully constructed and written with a firm sense of dread and a lot to say -- my favourite kind of book.
