The Woods by Harlan Coben
3.0
This is my first Harlan Coben book, I didn’t love it but I also didn’t hate it.
I enjoyed the main storyline the long lost lovers and of course the murder mystery. I didn’t have a clue what was happening for the first 150 odd pages and then I started to come more together for me.
I also enjoyed the writing style and different points of view (if not a little confusing in places)
The addition of all the side story lines and waffle made it a bit less of a gripping page turner for me unfortunately. Also, some of the ‘twists’ I saw a mile off, which was a little disappointing.
All in all an ok read and I’m now intrigued by Cohen’s other books...
