The Macmillian Readers version of the text is very reader-friendly yet informative (with the inclusion of snippets of the original text), and was able to capture the story and general vibe of a Shakespeare play with more accessible language. The story itself is interesting and straightforward with subplots, however in general I felt that this play is not as riveting as other plays (it bordered on predictable at times). Of course, I would like to believe that this version feels less captivating as it lacks the magic of Shakespeare's writing.
