This book is full of badass ladies sticking up for each other and pulling out the best (and worst) of each other. The trials were fantastic and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! The ending is what I expected and perfectly sets up what to look forward to in book 2. Merena Boreas is an amazing FMC with a I’m going to prove you wrong attitude.
