Oh this book!

I lnew from reading the synopsis that I was would enjoy this but I never thought I'd love it as much as I did.

We start in 1987 when Sam Hill (Sam Hell or Devil Boy to some) is 33 years old before going back to when he is 6 years old going to OLM and suffering throughout school. We grow with Sam, watch his friendship develop and grow with Ernie (the only Aferican American student and outcast in his class) and Mickie (a whirlwind of a girl) and I felt emotions that I wasn't expecting. I loved Sam in general, there wasn't anything that I disliked about him. I also liked his relationship with his parents, Maddy and Max.

Definitely recommend this book to all who loved A Boy's Life.
