Guardian for Hire had a perfect mix for me. A great heroine with great inner strength just waiting to get out and a super hot hero that is an amazing gentleman willing to do anything to keep her safe. Throw in a lot of drama and a couple near death experiences and you just can't put this one down.

Sarabeth seems stubborn and weak at the beginning, but she readily embraces the life of being protected when she finally realizes her life is in danger. She pulls from her repertoire of action flick lines to help her cope and Gavin thinks it's just adorable. Neither wants to admit their attraction at first - it's just the result of being forced together in a tense situation right? Wrong! Even Gavin's partner Maddy can see the sparks they don't want to admit exist. (And Maddy is quite the character in her own right as well).

This book is perfect for anyone who likes strong characters with a bit of intense action thrown in alond the way.
