Unforgettable Omega by Skye R. Richmond

2.0

Great premise, not so great execution. I actually skimmed through the second half because I got annoyed.

The plot is simple, an 18 yo omega hooks up with an older alpha and gets pregnant. Due to a miaunderstanding, he runs away and when he tries to contact the guy again to tell him about his son, another misunderstanding happens.

I have to clarify that I'm not a reader who hates miscommunication. I know it's usually a hated element in books by the majority, but I believe that if done right, I can get behind it. I can even like it if it creates interesting drama, keyword being interesting, not annoying, which sadly happened here.

The reasons this book is a 2 stars for me is because (1) the miscommunicatiom was dragged for too long, (2) the characters were stupid, especially Shay, whom I should believe is smart, (3) the book needed more editing because there are punctuation issues and some sentences don't flow well, and (4) while the child was cute, it felt more like a 6 years old instead of less than four.

The one thing that I can praise about this one is that the first half is very engaging and the plot idea was intriguing, if only it'd been shorter or even get rid of some of the unnecessary scenes that only dragged the climax, then I'd have a better experience.
