Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

4.0

«Oh Time, thou must untangle this, not I.
It is too hard a knot for me t’ untie.»

How fun! «Twelfth night» had a similar comedic style as «Much Ado About Nothing», but I liked this one even more! I enjoyed all of the characters, especially Viola/Cesario’s quick-witted personality and ambiguous character, Sir Toby’s snarky sideline comments and the Fool’s sharp wordplay. All the storylines tangled together in a well-constructed knot which was entertaining to follow all the way through. I’d really love to see this acted out, especially with all the disguises and lookalike-ry involved!
