when I started this book the main thing I was looking for was that the author added something remarkably different from the original twilight. writing a second book with the same exact plot as another book is a whole different challenge but imo she succeeded. this book genuinely provided more insight into the original story and it was interesting to explore edwards perspective. 3/5 because she did what she came to do.
