I liked this book a hell of a lot more than the first book. Probably because Kai and Banks are more likable characters than Erika and Micheal.

Their romance was, in a lot of ways, sweeter than the one in the previous book. I also liked the plot more in this one. It was less convoluted and made more sense. There were also elements that I just liked more in this book. Banks had to deal with verbal abuse
from her POS father
, but there weren't threats of physical violence from Kai just so they could get off. I know people say not to kink shame... but threatening the person you claim to love to get off... is weird and might not exactly lead to a healthy relationship.

I don't remember every detail since I read this book over a year ago but forgot to write my review at the time. The read dates on this are a guess based on when I bought the book.
