The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley

5.0

Goodness, this gets better with every read. McKinley's well-chosen and immersive vocabulary puts the reader in Harry's head. The settings are compelling and beautiful. The descriptions, emotions, cultures (& their interactions with each other), and relationships are so well done. The plot is wonderful too. I really don't have anything bad to say about it, and I'll never not want to return to Damar.
