Par for the course on Saxon and Eden books. This book deals with abusive relationships and overcoming trauma, so for that I think it may resonate with some readers more than others. There are some great quotes on the nature of relationships that I’ll be thinking about for a while!
Personally I’m not a fan of Hawai’i vacation stories (the location of the honeymoon), since I used to work at a Hawai’i resort. I don’t like how the islands are used as a mute backdrop to white people’s fantasies. But that’s my own pet peeve.
The two MMCs are darling, though they have a unique bantering style that could come across as funny to some and unsexy to others. It wasn’t my favorite, but I think others might like it.
Overall a good story. I look forward to more Sadenverse adventures.
This book can be read standalone, but is more fun if you’ve already read Puckboys 4: Foolish Puckboy.
4/5 spice
